PRODUCT NAME HLA-A0201/LMP2A Antibody
BACKGROUND INFOMATION Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is a gamma
herpesvirus that causes a life-long latent infection in human hosts. LMP2A is a
latent gene product expressed by EBV-associated tumors and peptide epitope
derived from this can be targeted by CD8 Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte (CTL) lines.
This antibody allows direct visualization and quantification of its epitope in
tumour tissues and cell lines.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION A highly specific and sensitive antibody for LMP2A epitope
of the Epstein Barr Virus.
FORMAT 100µg of lyophilized, purified antibody. Reconstitute to 100µl of
distilled H2O for 1µg/µl. It contains no additives.
REACTIVITY/ SPECIFICITY This antibody was produced in mouse against LMP2A peptide
CLGGLLTMV. Specific for human and mouse. Other species not tested.
APPLICATIONS Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot
(WB), Flow Cytometry (FC)
DILUTIONS If reconstituted in 1ml: IHC 1:500.
Optimal dilution has to be determined by the user.
STORAGE Lyophilized antibody can be kept at 4°C for up to 3 months and
should be kept at -20°C for long-term storage. To avoid freeze-thaw cycles,
reconstituted antibody should be aliquoted before freezing for short-term
storage (-20°C) or for long-term storage (-80°C). For maximum recovery of
product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further
dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
STABILITY Miinimum 1 year from reception date.
